Tennis, golf, kayaking and even surfing are just a handful of the activities to choose from. For beginners, there are always classes or clinics to teach your children a new sport or hobby!

Enjoy live children’s shows and face painting in Harbor Town, Shelter Cove Pavillion, South Beach Marina and Coligy Plaza during the summer months.  And don’t miss the magnificent fireworks display at Shelter Cove. Hilton Head is also home to several parks. Bristol Sports Arena located off Palmetto Bay road has several soccer fields, picnic tables and even a roller skating / skate board park. Jarvis Park on the north end of the Island has fishing lagoons, covered picnic tables, a paved walking path, and you might even see one of the islands many alligators enjoying a sunbath. There are nature trails and bike paths throughout all of Hilton Head and it’s public parks. Climate
Islanders enjoy great year-round climate on Hilton Head. Summers are warm, but the ocean breezes help to cool things down. Winters are generally mild and tend to be short. Spring and Fall are temperate and gorgeous.
