Rates

Rental rates and seasonal discounts vary for each property. To view the rate of a specific property (on a specific date) click on the “online booking” feature for the individual property.  (To view in calendar format).

If you do not have a specific property in mind but you know the arrival and departure dates, click on our search by date feature to view which properties are available for that week.

Things to Know before Check In

• Do I need to bring sheets and towels?
  • Island Getaway will provide each guest with a set of two bath towels, one wash cloth and one hand towel. Every unit is cleaned prior to the guest’s arrival and fresh linens are provided.
    
    
• Do I need to bring paper towels, dish soap and other necessary items?
  • Every unit is provided with a starter set of paper towels, toilet tissue, laundry detergent and dish soap. Any additional items need to be purchased by the guest.
    
    
• Will there be a Washer/ Dryer at the unit?
  • Every Island Getaway unit comes with a complete washer/dryer.
    
    
• Do you have pet-friendly properties?
  • Most of our properties are not pet friendly but we would be happy to recommend local kennels to take care of your pets during your stay. We have a few select pet friendly properties contact your reservationist for more information.
    
    
• Do you provide bikes, cribs and beach necessities?
  • Island Getaway does not provide beach towels, sundries or these items, but we have a list of links on our Web site to provide you and your family with every amenity to make your vacation relaxing and comfortable.
    
    
• Do your properties include tennis and golf privileges?
  • Select properties include tennis privileges for guests. We also can design individual golf packages that suit your needs and budget.  Our properties do not include golf in the price listed, but we have exclusive relationships with some of the finest public and private courses in the area to accommodate your needs.
    
    
• Can guests use the garage and elevator in the homes?
  • Garage and elevator use depends on the property. Island Getaway will do everything we can to accommodate elderly guests or those with disabilities.
    
    
• What will the tides be like during my visit?
  • Enjoy the beach more when the tide is perfect for your activity. Our tide chart is in a convenient printable format to take with you so you can plan for your fun beach activities!
    
    

For your convenience, each property comes with the following:

• Washer/Dryer
• Linens
• Bath towels
• Start-up supplies of dishwasher and laundry detergent, toilet paper and paper towels
• Every kitchen is fully equipped
• Iron and Ironing board
• Trash pickup and receptacles

Deposits
When you make your accommodation reservations, you will receive a confirmation and deposit request.  A check for the deposit of the rental is required to guarantee your reservation.  Checks should be mailed to: Island Getaway, P.O. Drawer 5429, Hilton Head Island, SC 29938.  Please put your reservation number on your check.

Balances
Your balance is due 30 days prior to arrival and can be paid by personal check.

Cancellation
If you find it necessary to cancel this reservation more than 60 days for villas, 90 days for near ocean homes and 120 days for oceanfront homes prior to your arrival you will forfeit 10% of the base rate before taxes.  Cancellation less than 60 days for villas, 90 days for near ocean homes and 120 days for oceanfront homes prior to arrival will result in loss of your deposit.  Cancellation within 30 days of arrival results in loss of total payment.

Arrival/Departure
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. A $25 per-hour charge can be administered for late departures. Late arrivals are no problem. After-hours check-ins can be arranged with prior notification.

Occupancy
The occupancy of each accommodation is limited to the number of persons indicated on your rental confirmation. Any exception must be approved by the management of Island Getaway.

Directions to Island Getaway
Once you are on the Island, stay in the left hand lane and look for signs to the Cross Island Parkway. Take the Cross Island Parkway through the Toll Booth ($1.25) and follow it until you reach the Sea Pines traffic circle. Take the third exit on the traffic circle (3/4 of the way around the circle) to Route 278 (mainland). Turn right at the first traffic light onto Arrow Road. Go to the stop sign and turn left on New Orleans Road. Island Getaway is located at 28 New Orleans Road, approximately one block on the left.

Driving South on I-95, take the Hilton Head Exit #8 (Highway 278 East) in South Carolina. It is approximately 20 miles on 278 to Hilton Head Island.

From the North...
