Spending Easter on Hilton Head Island this year? If so, you’re probably wondering where the best egg hunts and bunny visits will be this weekend! Our beautiful island and surrounding area is becoming much more than just a summer vacation destination; these days, guests travel from around the world to enjoy the peaceful serenity of the Lowcountry, all throughout the year. Whether you enjoy relaxing on the beach, biking along extensive winding trails, or visiting local boutiques and restaurants, you’re sure to find something fun for everyone, anytime of the year!

Grab your Easter baskets and follow us around the island as we visit all the fun festivities this weekend! Take a look and see where the Easter Bunny will be all weekend long!

Friday, April 3

Come on down to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve for the tradition Easter Bunny Wagon Ride! Meet the Sea Pines Easter Bunny when you arrive and then from 3:30pm-4:30pm enjoy a fun-filled wagon ride in the plantation! Reservations are required; 843-842-1979

Saturday, April 4

Make sure you eat a healthy breakfast this morning because we’ve got a full day today! The First Presbyterian Church of Hilton Head is hosting their very own Easter Egg Hunt on church property, beginning at 10:00am. Grab your baskets, and let’s get hoppin’!

After you’ve filled your basket with eggs from the church, join everyone at Shelter Cove Community Park for an Easter celebration unlike any other! The official egg hunt will begin at 11:00 and will be followed by live music, games, and various carnival activities for the entire family!

Parents, now it’s time to take a break; sit down for a nice lunch and relax with the family for a while before the fun begins again…this time just off-island, in Bluffton.

Head on out to Bluffton’s Storybook Shoppe to mean another one of the Lowcountry’s favorite bunnies, who will be visiting between 2:00pm – 2:45pm. Immediately following, take the family to one last Easter Egg hunt before the day is over, and let them fill their baskets once again! Hop on over to Bluffton High School where they will be hosting their annual community egg hunt from 3:00pm-6:00pm, and enjoy visiting with local families and friends.

Sunday, April 5

Whether you begin your morning with an Easter church service or a delectable brunch, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy one more afternoon of Easter celebrations before the weekend is over. At 11:00am head on down to the sound end of the island and enjoy one last egg hunt (we know you’re probably tired of them by now) at the Sea Pines Resort. Yes, the Easter Bunny will be there to wish you a Hoppy Easter himself! Finish up your afternoon by visiting the Sandbox Children’s Museum for their Easter Eggstravaganza between 2:00pm-5:00pm, where you can enjoy fun for the entire family!
