Deer Island Sea Lofts are individual homes on a secluded island within Sea Pines Plantation. As you cross the wood bridge onto tranquil Deer Island, you feel as if you have entered a unique neighborhood where the deer roam feely along with the many species of birds that adorn the trees in this all natural setting.

This charming two bedroom treehouse nestled above ground in the beautiful pines is just a short walk or quick bike ride to the quaint Harbour Town Marina and historic Lighthouse in Sea Pines with many fun shops and restaurants to explore. The treehouse is surrounded by plentiful wildlife, the Calibogue Cay Wetlands, as well as the Atlantic Ocean with miles of walking, running, and biking trails. The area is a birdwatchers delight.

Inside the breezy and fresh beach themed treehouse, with wood floors throughout, are 2 bright and pleasant bedrooms with queen beds and 2 baths. A cozy and open family area with a leather sectional, full kitchen and dining nook opens up to a large deck amongst the pines where the deer are common guests with a plethora of birds. There is a full washer and dryer on the lower level. Windows are the walls which allow for a 360 panoramic landscape view. And, there is wifi, Cable/TV if you just want to stay in and rest for awhile in the trees.

The convenient Sea Pines Trolley offers a variety of destinations points including the wonderful South Beach area. A wide variety of world renown public and private golf courses are just a short drive away and pool passes, bike rentals, and water sports are available 7 days a week for purchase. This is an outdoor enthusiast and nature lovers dream vacation.

*Please be advised there is very limited parking at the Sea Pines Beach Club March 23-September 2nd from the hours of 9am to 5pm. 50 parking places are available on a first come- first serve basis.

The Sea Pines Trolley is the best form of transportation to and from the beach during the summer months.

Overall

We enjoyed our respite in this unique spot. It felt like we were living in the trees. Close enough for many activities, but secluded as well. Our first trip to HH and it is a beautiful place for outdoor people. Biking and walking. I most loved the rockers on our rental porch where I could sit outside and read, or just listen to, or watch nature. Watching the deer every afternoon was a treat as well.

Overall

We had a wonderful 4 nights in this great sea loft cottage. We saw so many deer I felt like we were in THEIR neighborhood! Place had a great deck, nice bedrooms and living room. We had a great time!!!!
