Love seafood, live entertainment, and family-fun on the island? Who doesn’t? Check out the 8th annual Hilton Head Island Seafood Fest, beginning this Sunday, March 1, with events throughout the week until Saturday, March 7.


What better way to spend your “Sunday Funday” than at the Seafood Fest Kick-Off Party at Hudson’s! From 3:00pm – 7:00pm this Sunday. This family operated restaurant has been an island favorite and longtime tradition for years, so come on down and make it your own family tradition!


On Monday evening, March 2, be a part of one of the most exclusive culinary events of the year on Hilton Head Island. This Chef Collaboration 7-Course Dinner will incorporate the finest ingredients and most innovative cooking techniques to bring a true dining masterpiece to your table. Spots are limited, so be sure to call 843.681.3474 to reserve your space. Clayton Rollison of Lucky Rooster Kitchen & Bar along with Patrick Ward of Hudson’s Seafood House on the Docks will be collaborating in the kitchen to provide an exceptional dining experience.


Throughout the week, between 3:00pm and 5:00pm each evening (Monday – Friday) enjoy a two-hour excursion with some of the island’s finest watermen. The Lowcountry Seafood Experience on the Water will include shrimping, oystering, clamming, and crabbing, and of course hours of fun on the water! The boat leaves from the docks at Hudson’s and upon returning, your catches will be prepared so you can enjoy the rewards from all your hard work at sea!


Wrapping up the week, on Saturday, March 7, the big event will take place; between 12:00pm – 7:00pm at Shelter Cove Community Park. The Hilton Head Island Seafood Fest is a family-friendly event featuring local restaurants and chefs serving up authentic Lowcountry seafood along with other local favorites. There will be live entertainment, a Kids Zone, a silent auction, famous crab races, and so much more!
