This former artist's home and studio has been transformed into a wonderful South Forest Beach, seaside cottage -- just a four-minute walk to the beach. It is the perfect, private setting for your relaxed family vacation. By day, recline in Adirondack chairs on a new, 800-square-foot private deck and pool area shaded by palm trees and towering sea pines. By night, have a family barbecue under the stars and listen to the surf from the beach.

Enter the home and step into a sunny, open floor plan with 12- foot ceilings and bright skylights overhead. Take three steps down and enter the main living area furnished with two classic canvas sofas, two comfy chairs, and an internet-enabled, flat-screen TV. The dining area seats eight and overlooks the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs with brand new stainless steel appliances and granite counter-tops. From the kitchen, a sliding-glass door opens to the large deck with a second outside dining area with seating for six, complete with gas grill and colorful umbrella. A convenient laundry/utility room off the kitchen has a new, stackable washer/dryer.

The first master bedroom is three steps up from the living area and features a king bed, wall-mounted, flat-screen TV and a private full bath with an all-new, subway-tiled, zero-entry shower and bench. From this bedroom, sliding glass doors open directly onto to the private deck area and back yard. The second master bathroom -- formerly an artist's studio -- has a king bed, a flat-screen TV, and a writing area with desk and chair (plus extra storage in an oversized, double closet). Off the main hallway, there is a a third bedroom with a queen bed, and a bonus-room, den with a twin trundle bed. The second full bathroom has all new fixtures, granite counter-tops with an all-new, tiled shower and tub; this bathroom is accessible from the second master bedroom and the main hallway.

The house is at the end of a quiet, cul-de-sac with ample parking in front and fully-private backyard off the deck area framed by tall, sea pines and traditional, palm trees. A private path behind the house leads you straight to the public beach path, and the ocean is a quick stroll away across South Forest Beach Drive. The path leads to mile-marker 48, one of the least-busy, most-pristine sections of South Forest beach - ideal for swimming, biking, strolling, and enjoying beach life. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Absolutely beautiful home. Nice outside area, large bedrooms and bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen. Short walk to an uncrowded beach.
