HILTON HEAD ISLAND. This open, bright and cheery home is perfectly located in the center of Palmetto Dunes on the picturesque 11 Mile Lagoon, and is only a 5-6 minute walk to the gorgeous beaches of Hilton Head. Warmly decorated and appointed, this home has four bedrooms, each with its own full bath.

The living and dining great room lets in the Hilton Head sunshine through two large sliding glass doors that open to the pool and deck, and three overhead skylights in the high vaulted ceiling. Two large sofas provide comfortable seating for your family to take in the outside view or enjoy the flat screen HDTV with DVD player. The large dining area has seating for eight.

The spacious kitchen includes everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals at home. The kitchen features granite counters, tile flooring and has a breakfast table that seats six. In addition, a counter top with bar stools for 4 opens into the main living area.

The master bedroom has a king bed and a full bath. A sliding glass door opens up to the deck overlooking the pool and lagoon. The second bedroom on the main level has a queen bed and full bath.

On the second floor, the large front bedroom has a king bed and a set of bunk beds. The back bedroom on the second floor has two queen beds, lots of windows to let in the sunshine and overlooks the pool and lagoon. Both bedrooms on the second floor have their own private bath.

All four bedrooms feature a flat screen HDTV with DVD player.

The pool deck has lots of room to sit or lounge and enjoy a relaxing day in the sun. The deck area has a gas grill, as well as several tables with chairs for outdoor dining or refreshments.

Your own private dock on the lagoon is perfect for sipping your morning coffee or afternoon beverage, while watching the beautiful wildlife on the lagoon.

In addition to the short walk to the beach, the Palmetto Dunes Tennis and Pickleball Center, as well as the General Store, are only minutes away. Three championship golf courses are also close by within Palmetto Dunes. Shopping and restaurants abound within minutes of Palmetto Dunes.

Awesome house!

Overall

The house is awesome. It was perfect for a family of 10, the youngest of whom was 16. Even though we are beach-goers, the pool was the focal point of our vacation. We floated around and caught up on the family news. Even though beach access was a relatively short walk (the public access is inside what appears to be solely a Disney property), we spent surprisingly little time at the beach, possibly because parts of the pool were shaded throughout the day, so we could opt for sun or shade. The house is welcoming and well equipped. I highly recommend the house and would definitely rent it again.

We will absolutely be back.
