Description

This amazing beachside home is only 100 yards from the ocean! Just a short stroll and you are on the sand, no streets to cross.
The main floor living space is an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings, a 75” TV, ample seating areas and French doors that open to a large screened in porch. The porch is complete with outdoor dining for six and deep comfortable seating around the porch’s TV. A Vaulted ceiling and an oversized fan will make this area a guest favorite. The screen porch also can accesses the grill porch and 13 steps down to the pool.

The kitchen features a Sub Zero refigerator, Thor (gas burning) stove / oven, a full size icemaker, double refrigeration drawers and a dishwasher. The kitchen island has 3 barstools and sits adjacent to the dining room table that seats 8 or can be extended to seat 10.

The home has a large pool (24’ x 10’) pool and an outdoor pavillon area under the house complete with a ping pong table, TV, pool bathroom and multiple areas to lounge poolside. The large laundry room is also located on this level.

Two bedrooms are located on the main level. One of the bedrooms has a king size bed, TV, and a full-sized bath with walk in shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds, two trundle beds, and a full bathroom with walk in shower. There is also a powder room down this hall.

Upstairs the master bedroom has a king bed, TV, sitting area, walk in closet and a luxury bathroom with pebbled floors, walk in shower and double vanity. Across the hall, there a queen-sized bed, TV, walk in closet and a full-sized bathroom with double vanity and a walk-in shower. Also located upstairs, is a landing with a desk and sofa / sitting area.

The area is located approximately one mile from Coligny Beach where there are multiple shops, restaurants, live music and night life. The home also has perfect access to the Sonesta Resort and spa where a massage is just a short walk down the beach. Bike trails also access the many sights to see around the neighborhood and Hilton Head.

*Pool heat is available for additional fee. Pool heat requests must be made at least 2 weeks prior to arrival date to ensure the best service. Please note it can take up to 24 hours for the pool to heat.

We loved the enclosed porch space with the fan and couches and lamps and table! The kitchen was nice, but it did not have a very good arrangement of where things were. We could not find measuring cup for the longest time, there was only one spatula. But we did love the ice maker and the refrigerator drawer for drinks! There were no trash cans in the small bathroom off the kitchen or in the twin bedroom bathroom. We figured something out but I feel like every bathroom should have trash cans. Overall, everything was very nice. We loved the location for multiple reasons. We also were glad it had a gas grill for cooking easily. Loved all the seating by the pool also.

Great clean property and super close to the beach. Unlike many other Hilton Head homes, the A/C could actually keep up and maintain reasonable temps in the heat and humidity of July. The best part was the private gated beach access that meant the beach nearby was relatively empty and we did not feel crowded at all!

The best vacation ever! We absolutely loved the house. The cleanliness, decor, layout and beach accessibility can’t be beat. Newly remodeled and provided everything to make our stay perfect. Great kitchen with all needed appliances and cookware. Plently of refrigerator space. Relaxing heated pool and generous outdoor space to spread out. Management always friendly and professional. We were super pleased with this property. The location is Tip Top, and the house itself was laid out to accommodate all guests with private bathrooms for every bedroom. Great layout for a large family or 4 couples.....its feels larger than it is. Thanks for letting us borrow the house!!

2 Driftwood is a beautiful, newly renovated property. This home easily accommodated 6 adults, although the fourth bedroom had trundle beds, great for kids. This home has very easy access to the beach, perhaps only 50 meters down the street. There is a lovely pool, which we had heated, and two very nice outdoor living spaces. Through a small living room window, you actually have an ocean view. We would definitely stay at this property again and hope to soon.

Great house and location. The house was recently remodeled and it shows. The owner did a great job furnishing. It’s close to the beach and an easy drive to any place on the island. My family had a wonderful time staying at this house and would definitely rent again. next time we are in Hilton Head.
