HILTON HEAD ISLAND. Welcome to 2 Long Boat, a spacious, four-bedroom, four-and-one-half bath, nearly 4,000 square foot, third row, Palmetto Dunes home where no detail has been spared. The beautiful Atlantic Ocean and wide beaches await you just steps away on the private end of Palmetto Dunes. Palmetto Dunes has three championship 18-hole golf courses, 26 tennis courts, restaurants, shopping, and its own marina at Shelter Cove.

This is a non-smoking and pet-free home. It was recently redecorated with new carpet, designer paint, bedding, window treatments and updated furnishings. The large living room is in the center of the first floor and is decorated with beautiful furnishings and accessories, including matching sofa, love seat, and oversized chair. The living room has a fireplace, flat screen TV, and audio system that plays throughout the home, including at the patio area. You will enjoy preparing meals in the fully-equipped kitchen, complete with breakfast bar which seats four. A comfortable keeping room adjoins the kitchen, complete with sofa, dining table for four, and flat screen TV/DVD. The separate dining room has a glass top table that seats six and is located near the kitchen for easy serving. The living room, keeping room, and first floor master have French doors which open to the stone patio and private heated pool and jacuzzi area. The pool is amply sized, heavily screened by landscaping, and comes equipped with new chaise lounges, chairs and tables, and a gas grill for your family cookouts. The shaded patio has plenty of seating, a table with seating for six, and ceiling fans. It is the perfect place to relax after your beach walk or bike ride! The first floor master bedroom, which overlooks the pool area, has a king-size bed, TV/DVD, and its own huge master bath. The tiled bath boasts a jetted jacuzzi tub, large walk-in closet, separate vanities and water closets, sky lights, and a glassed-in shower with two shower heads. The second master bedroom is alone on the second level for the ultimate in privacy. It also has a king-size bed, sitting area with a sofa, two chairs, TV/DVD, walk-in closet, and its own private master bath with jacuzzi tub and glassed-in shower. If two couples are sharing this home, no one feels like they got the "second class" bedroom! The other two bedrooms are upstairs on the third level. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed, TV/DVD, and private bath. The fourth bedroom is perfect for the kids- it has twin double bunk beds and sleeps four in a large room. It has plenty of room to roll out sleeping bags or use the 2 rollaway beds provided if need be! It has a TV/DVD and its own private bath. Each of the third floor bedrooms has ample closet space and window seats overlooking the pool.

Other features include wireless internet access, a two-car garage, spare refrigerator in the garage, and a large laundry room with full-sized washer, dryer, and utility sink. 2 Long Boat is beautifully decorated, with high ceilings, designer touches, and an open, airy floor plan. A third row home less than a two-minute walk to the beach with no streets to cross, it is your perfect family vacation spot for years to come. Because of the two master bedrooms, it is also an ideal home for two couples to share with their families at a per family cost about equal to what each family would pay to rent a two-bedroom villa. But with so much more for your money! All you need to bring are your beach towels!

We thoroughly enjoy this property. Last year we rented for one week. This year we did 2 weeks and our in laws did a week after us. They love it too. Class act service from Island Getaway and always ready to help. The owners clearly take pride in the house so we do our very best to take care of it too. Perfect for our kids and grand-kids.

What a fabulous week and place to stay! The owners provided every need in this glorious home! With an 8 month old baby in tow, everyone from our family had more than enough space to relax, unwind, and enjoy each other’s company. The home is so cozy and in such a beautiful location. Beach walk not even 2 min! We hope to return! Thank you for opening your home to very appreciative guests!

Our family keeps growing (2 son in laws and 2 grandsons) and we were so excited to get back to 2 Long Boat, where everyone has plenty of space to feel relaxed in their home away from home! This house is spectacular, spacious, cozy, and has an awesome pool and backyard, garage and driveways! The close proximity to the ocean (going through the tree tunnel to the bridge with no steps to the beach) is perfect with little ones in tow! Our grandsons didn’t want to leave (as did the rest of us). Memories for a lifetime were made, again! Hope to be back! Thank you for opening up your beautiful home to our family!
