Nine steps lead you to the wrap around front porch where you can sit on one of the six Adirondack chairs and enjoy the sunset. As you enter, you will find the sunken living room (three steps down), which offers a sofa, chair with ottoman, entertainment center with flat-screen HD-TV, 5-disc CD player, and iPod docking station, DVD player, and wireless Internet access. You will also find a door to the back deck. Also located on the first floor are the first four bedrooms. In the first bedroom is where you will find a King bed, flat screen TV with built in DVD player, and a shared bathroom (that can also be private) with a shower. The second bedroom, located above the garage (four steps up to this room), has a king bed, flat screen TV with built-in DVD player, and a private bath with stand-up shower. Cathedral ceilings and a leather couch add to the comfort of this room. The third bedroom offers a queen bed, flat screen TV with built-in DVD player, and a private bath with tub/shower combination. In the fourth bedroom you will find two twin beds (that can also be another king, if needed) and a private bathroom with a shower. This bathroom also has access to the back deck.

Fifteen steps to the second floor you will find the main living areas. To the left of the stairs is where you will find the master suite, which offers tall, peaked ceilings for a more open feel, a king bed, chair with ottoman perfect for reading, and an armoire with flat screen TV and DVD player. This suite also offers access to a shared deck with four chairs, a wicker table, and slight ocean views as well as an amazing master bathroom with his/her sinks, walk-in closets, and a private tub with separate stand-up shower.

Just down the hall is where you will find the dining room, perfect for entertaining a large dining table that seat up to ten. The living room has plenty of seating with two matching sofas, chair with ottoman, two swivel chairs a decorative marble fireplace, flat screen TV with DVD player, and a wall of windows showing the slight ocean views. This room also has access to two separate decks and opens to the kitchen with stainless steel appliances, built-in oven and microwave, and four high-top chairs. There is also a breakfast table with additional seating for six and access to the back deck. The upper level back deck features a table for six and several loungers. There is an outdoor staircase connecting this upper deck to the pool and grill area below.

The private backyard is the perfect escape after a long day on the beach. A large sunny pool is surrounded by plenty of loungers and a shady outdoor living area with built in grill is a wonderful relaxing area to spend your evenings!

***Mooring Buoy Redevelopment Project (September 2023-April 2024) The scope of this project will include the installation of new storm water drainage infrastructure, roadway paving, and leisure pathway reconfiguration and realignment. The Broad Creek Public Service District (BCPSD) will also coordinate domestic waterline replacement during the project. There may be temporary accessibility disruption to the driveway and/or mailbox at certain times during the project. Parking may be an issue in that entering or exiting your property could be challenging at times.

We stayed at 4 East Wind in Palmetto Dunes. This was our ninth place staying on Hilton Head but this was definitely the best! It was better than advertised. When we arrived, there were stars in our eyes. Hope to return often.

This was our 2nd time in 4 East Wind and it is a great location and the property layout is wonderful. You are close to the beach and the house amenities are wonderful. The Island Getaway staff are always great to work with.

Despite some less than ideal weather — lots of rain and fog — we still had a wonderful stay. We’ve been coming to Hilton Head with family since the late ‘70s, 4 East Wind was by far the nicest house we’ve rented. Can’t wait to come back!

The 4 East Wind rental house was a last minute change due to my first choice becoming unavailable due to construction. The house did not disappoint!! Thanks Island Getaway rentals for making the transfer so smooth! We had my sister’s 60th surprise birthday party at the house and the house was perfect for it! Two inside entertainment areas and a beautiful two-story outside area. And for the rest of the week the set-up of the bedrooms was great for the three families staying there. 4 bedrooms on the first level with a living area and the master bedroom on the top floor which was the main living area. And lots of extras in the kitchen which helped with the party!! And the beach access was so close and easy with two little ones-spent a lot of time on the beach!! Love…love…love your Island! And a big thanks to those owners who share their wonderful homes with strangers!!
