Welcome to 494 Captain’s Cove…. location location location!

Located directly across the street from the Atlantic Ocean, situated along the lagoon in Palmetto Dunes, this unit was fully renovated in 2021 and 2022. Drive right up to the front door and step inside this bright and freshly decorated, two-story, four-bedroom home away from home.

When entering the home, there is a bright, airy living room, with a comfortable sleeper sofa and a large flat-screen TV. The large living area, with a vaulted ceiling and updated furnishings, opens to a private deck with new Adirondack chairs to enjoy the evening sunsets. The well- manicured grassy backyard is perfect to play and lounge in. The waterfront view of the 11-mile lagoon system is a perfect spot to fish or launch a kayak.

The unit has a completely renovated kitchen, with leathered quartzite countertops and new stainless-steel appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook for your family and friends. The open dining area seats six, with room for four in the breakfast area, and four more in the living area. The new barn doors in the back of the kitchen open to a new large washer and dryer set and a second full refrigerator for your convenience.

The villa’s sleeping arrangements are spacious and family friendly. The master bedroom contains a king bed and a brand-new private bathroom. The guest room on the first floor has a king bed as well, with use of the main floor full bathroom which was also renovated in late 2021. As you ascend the winding staircase to the second level, you enter a small sitting area that the kids can enjoy. Off of the sitting area is a guest bedroom with a queen bed, and a guest bedroom with extra-long twin beds. There is a fully renovated third full bathroom, with a tub, on the second floor. The villa even has an exterior storage room, with plenty of space to store your beach cart and bicycles.

During your stay, make sure to check out the year-round Captain’s Walk/Captain’s Cove oceanside pool. It is located directly across the street and was renovated in winter 2022. This area features a large swimming pool, a kid's pool, cabana, on site restrooms, large sunning deck and boardwalk to the beach. The pool is heated seasonally. Check with Island Getaway for dates.

The Oceanfront Omni and Marriott Resorts are across the street and both offer fabulous day spas, bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. Shelter Cove Marina is a quick bike ride away and offers shopping, dining, entertainment, and fun water sports. Fabulous shopping is also nearby including the all-new Shelter Cove Towne Center.

494 Captains Cove is PERFECTION! The villa is super clean, the decor is beautiful and bedrooms and kitchen are stocked with high end furnishings! There were 6 adults on our visit and plenty of space to relax. LOVE the location. Just steps to the ocean. Walked over to the Omni for several meals at their beach front bar, pool bar and HHPrime. We will be back!

The place is beautiful! Top notch in everything to the kitchen to all the bathrooms!! Has 2 refrigerators which is just excellent. One for all your beverages and ice and one for all your food is how we used them. We have stayed in a number of the condos in this strip over the last 20 years of coming to the island and this one has been by far the coolest and best experience we’ve had so far. To the waterfall shower heads in all the bathroom plus extra shower head in the master for an awesome shower after a long day at the beach. 2 thumb up!
